All Things Country published it's first edition in July of 2006 and has been spreading good news to their readers ever since. The paper was started in the living room of the owner's home and moved into it's first office space in May of 2007. As of January 1, 2008 we expanded even further as we moved to a larger space at the Chuck's Hardware and Feed building in Hargett, Kentucky.
The paper is published monthly and distributed free to businesses in 24 counties around our wonderful state of Kentucky. Owned by father and daughter, Clayton and Pam Hedge, the paper is designed and layed-out by Pam. Advertising sales are handled by Clayton and Pam's husband, Dave Severson - who is also our delivery person, photographer, and whatever else we can find for him to do!
Content in All Things Country is provided by our wonderful readers, who send in poetry, short stories, recipes and photos. We also have a monthly column by our local extension agents, plus Stop and Smell the Roses by Annie during the summer months. Classifieds were added in the summer of 2007.

During our off hours, we are residents of the C2H2 Farm (www.c2h2farm.com) outside of Irvine. Owned by Carol Haller and Clayton Hedge, other residents include aunt Ruthie, who is Carol's mother and Clayton's aunt and a menagerie of animals we call our friends. Raised on the farm, besides produce throughout the summer months, are Dexter Cattle, Boer Goats, Lionhead Rabbits, California White Rabbits and an assortment of chickens. We also have guinnea hens that roam the farm, along with Jacob and Dolly, the great white pyranees dogs who protect the herds. Other dogs include Ciggy - a Keeshound; Peanut - a 6-lb. mixed breed and Abby - a beagle/yellow lab mix. And let's not forget Max, who is the official farm cat!
