Brian Penrod of Germantown was the winner of the second Heads Up Bash at Mountain Park Dragway. The race, held May 9, had seven entries and Penrod took home a trophy, free t-shirt and $230 for his efforts. Plan on attending the June Heads Up Bash on June 13th.

Chilly Weather Makes for Snowy Weather

We enjoyed absolutely beautiful spring-like weather and did for a few days in early March...... but it was just the calm before the storm.

We finally woke up to snow on February 13th! I've been waiting for years to wake up to the beauty of a fresh morning snowfall in Kentucky. Most of it melted by the end of the day, but at least we saw some of the white stuff!

The day before the snowfall, all we had to deal with was ice! This picture was taken of our car, after about 20 minutes of heating it up enough to scrape the windows. Very cold!

Our granddaughter Jocelyn Rose was a visitor to Kentucky in January. We had a wonderful visit with Jocelyn and our daughter Jennifer.

A new Dexter calf was born on the C2H2 Farm the day after Christmas. She is appropriately named Merrily. Her proud mama is a Dexter named Coco. She is a dun heifer.
